Google Chrome now has a refined look for the settings tab. Now the settings tab is categorized by only two things, Settings and Extensions. All the settings related things are grouped into Setting category and Extensions and Chrome apps are in Extension category. The redefined look for Settings tab is not only beautiful but its also  loading amazingly fast. Take a look at the below image for Chrome’s new settings tab.

The new settings tab has an interesting addition too. You can search the Chrome settings from the top of the Setting tab . I haven’t seen a Search option for settings in any other browser. Since Google, the biggest Search giant in the world, who owns Chrome, adding a search button for settings seems the logical step for Google.

Now there is no need to dig deep into the settings tab. Just go the settings tab and search for it. For example, if you search for languages option in the settings tab, even though the language are in the “Under the hood” settings category, it was highlighted in a nice fashion. From now on there is absolutely no reason to keep looking for all the options to just to change something. It will save lots of time for the end users.

Google is the only one Web Company who can think anything as a Opportunity for search. Settings is the Good place to add it. Thanks Google, again you saved a lot of time searching for things.
